We do not have any donkeys for sale at this time.
We will place you on a reservation list for jackstock babies, at your request.
I will require your veterinarian’s name & number. I will be insuring my animals go to a suitable home.
My veterinarian is Dr. Erica Lacher, Springhill Equine in Newberry, Florida. The number to her practice is: (352) 331-8434
I encourage you to call & check up on me!
My animals are not rescues. They are healthy, well adjusted animals that are a far better value any way you look at it.
I will give you complete detail on any animal you may be interested in.
My donkeys must have another donkey, mule or horse as a companion. I will not place a donkey in a situation where they are alone. They are all used to living in a herd situation, it is not fair to them not to have a buddy!
All animals will be up to date on shots, de-worming, & farrier care.
All animals are healthy, friendly, halter-able, & will come when called. I teach my herd members to respond to affection, not treats.

Jack O' Lantern
SOLD! Jack O’ Lantern. Jack is a standard jack. He stands 12hh and has stellar conformation. He is a sweet boy, leads, loads, stands for the farrier. Jack is brown with a grayish under belly, w/white points. No visible cross. He is 9 years old. Jack is now gelded.
SOLD! Kayden. Kayden is a dun standard gelding, with a chestnut cross. Sire: Jack O' Lantern Dam: Bubblegum. Kayden's DOB 2/19/13. He is currently 8.2hh, I think he will mature to 11.2 to 12hh. He was gelded December 14th, 2013. He leads, loads, and stands for the farrier. He has played in the trailer and did great when I took him to be gelded! He was bred and born here. Imprinted at birth, he is very friendly & looks like he is made out of yarn. Kayden is 11 months old. His dam, Bubblegum, is pictured behind him. Kayden and his momma went to a new home together!
SOLD? deadbeat buyer Lori Spiker
She has not paid me.
Hopefully he is alright. She threatened to put him down??????
Do not allow her near your equine.
Samson. Samson is a red, American mammoth jackstock gelding. He is 14hh. His heart girth and bone are stout. Sam is a character. He needs individual attention and a job. He came out of Virginia somewhere, and must have been “eared down” and handled by “cowboys”. He has to be sedated to have his feet done. I have gentled Sam but he needs concentrated individual attention that I cannot provide at this time. An experienced handler, with patience & time, could turn him into an excellent trail donkey. He is not broke. You must assess him yourself in person. He is 6 years old.
SOLD!Bubblegum is a dun standard jennet, with a chestnut cross. She stands 10.2hh. Kayden (pictured above) was her first foal, & she is an excellent momma. Bubbles leads & stands for the farrier. She is 5-1/2 years old. Bubblegum & Kayden went together to their new home!
SOLD to a wonderful new home thanks to Springhill Equine!
Jenna. Jenna is a standard jennet, dark brown, white points, with no cross. She was misrepresented to me as a mammoth by Lakeside Stables in Sebring. I kept her when she got here, because she is a beautiful girl. She is 11.2hh. Jenna leads & loads, but requires sedation for the farrier. She will let me pick up her feet. Several people that have come to look at our donkeys have picked up her feet as well. My farrier seems to be impatient with her, so this may be the problem. She is 4-1/2 years old. Never been bred. $200.
SOLD! Petunia. Petunia is a standard jennet. She is dun with a chestnut cross & leg barring. Her dam is onsite, and is my very first donkey! I have had her since she was a baby. She was imprinted and has been handled constantly all her life. She is 10.2hh Leads & stands perfectly for the farrier. She is 4-1/2 years old, never been bred. Petunia is now a companion animal for a beautiful paint gelding!
